These fans are beautiful one-of-a-kind hand marbled fan, made by Bronwyn from Raynbow Crow Studios. Abstract marbling patterns swirl across each fan in a unique pattern. With easy accordion style folding, this fan comfortably fits inside a small hand bag (say a KatherineByKatherine clutch!). These fans are perfect for a hot summer’s day.  They make a wonderful bespoke gift to a co-worker, teacher or loved one. They are also a great Bridesmaid gift (especially for a spring-summer wedding). They are wonderful gift for all ages, from use for those heated menopause moments or as a handy festival accessory.

This unique work was created using the ancient art form of marbling where paint is suspended on a thickened medium. The fan is gently placed over the surface of the paint and drawn away again, picking up the pattern of the paint on itself. Once dried the paint is permanent.

Each bespoke hand water marbled fan features

• Fan fabric bamboo and satin
• Hand water marbling on one side of fan only (though note through the process sometimes paint finds its way to the reverse side)
• Taffeta white drawstring bag
• Fan unfolded width is approx- 37cm and height approx- 21cm
• Each marbled item made by Bronwyn is totally unique
• Bubbles on the surface of the thickened medium (the medium used to water marble) can alter the pattern and cause ‘white’ spots, this is common and again makes each piece one of a kind.
